I’m a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR). I was born in Argentina, where I did my bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering at the Universidad Nacional del Sur. I came to Australia to do my PhD. After I finished, I stayed working as a Research Fellow at the ACFR.
I’ve done work for Acumine, CRC Mining, and at the moment I’m working for the Rio Tinto Centre for Mine Automation which was founded by the ACFR and Rio Tinto Iron Ore.
My main research interest is in robotics, in particular I’m interested on the areas of computer vision and machine learning.
I’m an Associate Editor for the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) and for IEEE IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent RObots and Systems (IROS).
