Sydney Light Rail, August 2001

As predicted, Thomas the Tank Engine was short lived. 2105 had the Thomas decals removed later in the month and was operating for a short time in orginal colours.

Subject: I got my wish - MLR LRV 2105

You may remember a couple of weeks ago I posted to this NG my wish to see a
Metro Light Rail in the original colour scheme rather than the billboards on
roids look.

Well Sydney tramfans, I have got my wish. LRV2105, last seen as Thomas The
Tank Engine is now in the original colours although I have a feeling this is
going to change soon.

So if like me you didn't take many shots of the original colours before they
changed, take a look at LRV 2015 today.
