Thierry Peynot

 
 

I am a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR), The University of Sydney, Australia. My current research interests include Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGV), planetary rovers, persistent autonomy, perception integrity, resilient perception using multiple sensing modalities and resilient navigation. I received a PhD degree from the University of Toulouse in 2006, on: “Selection and Monitoring of Navigation Modes for a Mobile Robot in Natural Environments”. My thesis was prepared at LAAS-CNRS. In 2005, I visited the NASA Ames Research Centre, in California.
